| Our First Public Magic Show in Forever! Yep, at the end of this month, March 19th at 3pm, we’ll be performing in an awesome venue, but… We Need Your Help! This show is going to be hard to get across the finish line if we don’t have help from the membership. There are three main areas where you can help out. Various Crew Members We need a stage manager to run the show. We need stage hands to get things on/off stage. We need ushers and general purpose helpers. (Click those links to see what they do!) The thing to remember about crew members is that if you are working backstage you won’t actually see the show. You will be helping create a show that the audience loves! Ushers will probably see most of the show as they will be out with the audience. Close-up Performers While the main show performers have been set (although there is a waiting list), we need people who are willing to do close-up magic for folks before the show. If you’d like to do “strolling close-up” we’d love to have you! In exchange for your pre-show performances you’ll get to see the show for free. Promotion & Ticket Sales Finally, we hope everybody in the club will help promote the show to family, friends, co-workers, both in person and online with whatever social media you do. We will be sending out some samples of things you can say, so you won’t even have to think if you don’t want to! 😉 |
